This is why the site is frequented by millions every week with head hunters, writers, advertisers, and job seekers all converging on the platform every single day. The supply and demand of skills is well on display on the platform, with the most popular skills right now at least in Singapore; being Blockchain related.

The June 19 LinkedIn report observed that Blockchain was the fastest developing expertise in Singapore, and among the top three in China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, and Vietnam. With the cynicism around Blockchain slowly subsiding, a lot of experts are now accepting that Blockchains can change entire fortunes of economies, and this has a lot of organizations almost stampeding towards them.
There have been quite a number of Blockchain related job openings in Singapore lately, with positions like Chief technology officer (CTO) with Blockchain role; being advertised. Other than Blockchain, the top ten rising skills in the country are artificial intelligence (A.I), Workflow automation, social media marketing, continuous integration, gesture recognition technology, robotic process automation (RPA), Human focused design, and frontend web improvement.
The discoveries revealed by the LinkedIn report don’t come as much of a surprise since Blockchain development has seen a lot of enthusiasm from Asia since its early days. A study by LinkedIn found that Singaporean experts knew that they need to up skill, with the report stating that a year from now; almost half of the core aptitudes to qualify for a job will have changed. Governments are also recognizing the changing market landscapes thanks to Blockchain innovation. Although a lot of governments have moved quickly to control digital currencies, a lot of them have communicated plans to use Blockchain innovations in different sectors of their economies.
The demand for specialists in Blockchain is growing every day and what’s awesome about it is that the technology is still in its nascent stages. This means that Blockchain related job opportunities are set to explode in the coming years as the technology matures in terms of wider adoption.
